Since opening in October 2002, Rebecca and her staff have been artfully creating elegant meals and providing a warm and positive dining environment for each customer.
A restaurant in a restored log cabin
Long time residents, Rebecca Miller and her husband Jim are the owners of the restaurant, which is located in Holmes County—Ohio's Amish Country. The restaurant is located in the village of Walnut Creek, in a restored log cabin, built in the early to mid 1800's.
Rebecca has always loved entertaining with food and is passionate about having every meal be an experience to be remembered. Rebecca’s Bistro was recently featured in an issue of the magazine Midwest Living.
Open for breakfast and lunch
Rebecca's serves breakfast and lunch daily from 8am to 3pm, and will provide after hour dining for special occasions. The lunch menu includes salads, hearty sandwiches, savory soups, various entries, and delightful desserts. The lunch menu is limited in offerings, but changes weekly to provide customers with a variety of dining options. Rebecca insists on quality ingredients and uses locally grown, seasonal, fresh fruits and vegetables.
Mmm...Tomato Basil Soup
The breakfast menu includes omelets, stuffed French toast, and the local favorite—cream eggs over toast. Lunch specialties include Rebecca’s selection of sandwiches, quiches, salads and her signature Tomato Basil Soup. If a specialty drink is what you are looking for, Rebecca's Bistro has a variety of espresso drinks, teas, and fruit smoothies.
